LonelyCache

Just wondering. Would it be impossible to make a web based challenge checker for lonely caches here? would it be allowed? I realize it would only be in the mountain west.

Someone on the Project GC site said that their system would not work. Just kinda thinking out loud.

That's an interesting idea. LonelyCache could be made to find intervals from a previous find. There are a few problems though.

• Caches outside the LonelyCache territory would not be included.
• Only active caches would be included since LonelyCache does not track archived caches.
• If a cacher logs more than one find on a cache, only the first find is kept.
• Owner cache finds are not kept.
• Project GC is currently the only authorized source for challenge checkers.

So I don't think LonelyCache could create a viable challenge checker for "lonely" caches. It could however, help one identify finds of lonely caches.
