A Simple Question

Hello,

I think it's an interesting concept, and I actually like finding lonely/neglected/forgotten caches. I think I have found fair number of lonely caches. But my profile says, "Points awarded for 10 finds (1.4 / find): 14". Yes, only 14 points from 10 finds.

For example, I have found GC33D6D, which has only 4 finders in the past 3+ years. I think I got more than 14 points just from that find (75 points if my calculation is correct). No? I don't see any information about this cache here.

Most of the caches I have found do not have any information, actually. Why?

Hi Kanchan,

Welcome to LonelyCache. The Neptune's Challenge looks like quite the challenge, congrats to you and your fellow adventurers on finding that!

Currently, LonelyCache's area of coverage, or territory if you will, is limited to all of Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming, along with the SE portion California, and the west portion of Texas between New Mexico and Mexico. That is why only ten of your finds are included in LonelyCache and why there is no information on other caches you've looked for.

Sometime we will have maps showing the different regions and territory of LonelyCache. Unfortunately, they are not available now.

Thanks for asking,
Russell
