Top Finders list

I have noticed when looking at a cachers main page that the rankings for the top finders for that cacher are somewhat confusing.

Take the cacher : http://www.lonelycache.com/GeocacherPag ... id=PR4CN8V
3 cachers have found the one and only cache this hider has out. same count / same amount of points.. yet, the 3 cache finders are ranked #1, # 2 and # 2...
should they all be ranked #1?


Another cache hider .. chuckarama had a total of 3 hides out ..
5 cachers have logged all 3 ( same count and same amount of points) but the finders are ranked 1 , 2 , 3, 4, 5...
I thought this may be by date found ???

not a problem just curious as to how the ranking works..

There actually is a rhyme and a reason for the way this works and it is explained here. Note that since that was posted, LonelyCache computes owner find accolades in the same manner as the DGP did.
