Hi Dave216, welcome to LonelyCache.

I've been asked about expanding into Maryland too. I'd love to see LonelyCache cover all of the continental US but that would probably take a lot more computing power and administration than we'll ever have.

We really would like to expand some though. I'm not sure when we'll be able to start, but before we do, we'll need to get a better handle on what the performance impacts would be. Once we're prepared for expansion, we'll most likely start including the portions of CA and TX and perhaps Mexico that were a part of the DeepSouthwest Geocaching Project. From there, we'd probably work to include all the western US and then move eastward. That's the grandiose plan. I don't know how far we'll ever get or if we'll make it to the midwest, but we can dream.
