LCP Regional Maps
When DGP was active, many cachers used the regional maps. There were challenge caches for finding caches in all of the regions in each state and an overall challenge cache for finding caches in all of the regions in DGP. I think the regional maps contributed to regional interest and regional stats were a big thing. Using the GSAK Macros FindStatsGen and GenUploadStats you could upload your stats to GC.com and have just the stats you want showing and in the order you want. My profile page had a blurb about DGP and showed the DGP regional map and the regions I had found caches in. I have updated my profile on GC.com with a blurb about LCP but it still shows the DGP map and the DGP data from a year ago (it won't update LPC data). The DGP regional maps are still available on line (FindStatsGen44Beta still has the DGP maps uploaded in it) and I believe it would not be too difficult to update these maps to LCP regions and make them available for download to FSG). I think this would be a great way to promote LCP and would spur more regional interest. I know you have mentioned about doing the maps sometime in the future. Any timetable?

There's a lot of stuff here. I'll try to address the various items.
I would like to add maps showing the various regions to LonelyCache. Basically, to do that, I'd like to create an image with the region outline and some nice looking map background as opposed to have to create the map on demand. I'd also want the image to be an "image map," so that clicking on various parts of the image will be a hot link to the region it is associated with. I'm pretty sure that's what was done on DGP too. I've looked around a bit for some software package that can do that but haven't found one yet. If anybody knows of one, please let me know.
Right now any region in LonelyCache is exactly the same as the corresponding region on DGP, so any maps and such that are being used by GSAK should work for LonelyCache too. LonelyCache does have the GSAK import function so setting up what finds you have in what region what the point values are is already there. I don't know what macros you are using to do that, but I'm sure they can be updated fairly easily to use the LonelyCache data. If you point out what macros they are, perhaps we can encourage the macro writer to update them (I think that would be AZTech or me depending on the macro).
Next, is to have a link to LonelyCache that returns one's LonelyCache standings like DGP had. This is available for caches, but not cachers. I know some people enjoyed adding these DGP links to their profile page and I'm sure would like a LonelyCache one now. I'd like to get this implemented sometime soon.
