Site Update Dec. 22 2012

Post by Corfman Clan »

Okay, perhaps this flurry of updates is about over, perhaps not. At any rate, I think I'd like to get off my butt and find some lonely caches.

This update is fairly simple and contains two changes.
  • Now disabled caches will be displayed with a line through the name, any place they are displayed. Before this only occurred on the Geocache Page, now it will also occur in any list of caches. I'm pretty sure I caught all places where a cache may be listed but it's possible I missed one or more. If you see a disabled cache listed somewhere without a line through it, please let me know the web page address. Remember that a cache's enabled/disabled status on LonelyCache will lag that on Geocaching.com, so only report if the cache shows disabled on some pages in LonelyCache and not on another.
  • While making the above changes, I noticed that, on the search results page, the link to a cache's owner was going to the Geocache page, not the Geocacher page. That is now corrected.
Merry Christmas,
Russell

I just pushed out another update to correct a few bugs:
  • Fixed issue where clicking on a leaderboard link from a cacher's page, always displayed the first page instead of the page the cacher is on. (more info)
  • When switching the sort method in the FDF leaderboard (sort by date or by FDF points), in certain conditions the page was being reset to 1. Now the current page is retained.
  • When going to the FDF leader board from a cacher page, that cacher should be highlighted on the board page. Using the cacher's profile code instead of the ID broke the highlighting. This problem was introduced in the Nov. 29 update and is now corrected.
