2020 Annual Request for Support
Posted: June 16th, 2020, 9:42 pm
Hi Everyone,
Hopefully you are doing well despite all the turmoil 2020 has brought on so far and have been able to go find a lonely cache or two or several. The past few months, I'm happy to say, the numbers of LonelyCache users has grown significantly. My caching is down from last year but am still able to get out and find a few and have enjoyed seeing what others have been finding. There is no lack of lonely caches to be found!
It's been awhile since I've made any updates to LonelyCache - it's been running so smoothly I haven't had to make any corrections. As I mentioned last year, I have been working on revamping the LonelyCache user interface. Those changes are mostly done; I just need to wrap a few things up before deploying them. Once I do that, the plan is to expand LonelyCache into both Washington and Oregon.
As many of you know, LonelyCache utilizes several premium member Geocaching accounts to keep itself up to date. Two of those accounts' premium membership is about to lapse and a third will later this year. Thanks to your generosity over the years, these accounts have been kept premium throughout.
I'm hoping you will again step up and show your support for LonelyCache by gifting a premium membership to one of the accounts. They are LonelyCache 01, LonelyCache 02, and LonelyCache 05. LonelyCache 01 and 02 expire June 22, and 05 this coming November. LonelyCache 03 is good for another year, and LonelyCache 04 currently isn't needed. Please note if you do gift a membership so any gifts can be spread over different accounts.
Thank you everyone for your continued interest and support of LonelyCache.
All the best,
Russell
