Yesterday azcampbell, jcanyoneer, jonben99 and I had a great adventure finding
HANDICAPPER GENERAL. The last time it was found was just six days shy of
five years ago! I left my house at about 4:15 AM and returned home at 11:00 PM. What a long tiring and fun day.

Way to go Redfist.. I noted the old outdated DGP challenge points icon is stuck on 44, still showing on the cache page..
LCP is now 81 points. nice find!

Cool!

I've been looking at Middle Saddle for a lot of years. Good work, I'm glad you were able to bear it.

I found a cache with ETrunner today that had not been logged for 925 days.. Dragon's Nest in Willard UT.
http://coord.info/GC10FG4
We made a DNF attempt earlier this month but ran out of daylight and the coords were off over 107ft, this find required hiking up a narrow slot in rocks with 5ft ledges to climb and a waterfall to deal with.
Cache was in back of 100 + foot narrow dark cave just above the waterfalls. cache box had been destroyed , broken to bits with no log or contents left.. We performed some TLC as required.. its ready to go now. If not for the love of caching, I would not have had the opportunity to visit some very fun and interesting places.. cache on... ~

Congrats Dawg and ET for those Lonely caches above Willard! Funny, GC1QBF1 and GC10FG4 were on top of the Longest Alone list for the Box Elder county, but are on the mountain bench in the populated southeast corner where they should be found more frequently. My eyes wander up there everytime I drive into Ogden -- I'll have to go for a hike up there now that I know there's something to find!

Yesterday I went for a paddle on Lake Pleasant and ended up finding
Lake Pleasant Haunts last found almost two years ago. It was a long paddle and I barely made it back to the launch site before dark.

Got lucky yesterday and found a cluster of old lonely, seldom found caches while on a jeep ride with the wife.
GCWQY last found 9/3/2010
GCQ8AQ 6/12/2010
GCWXE8 7/14/2010
It's a great day when you can pop the lid on this many old ones.

I found two today which I'm going to brag about. While they were both found in May, the previous find before that was 2011: they are averaging about one find a year.
http://coord.info/GC1QBB5 Tree Sign
http://coord.info/GC1H69V The End
Both are worth over 50 points each!

I found 2 relatively good ones (from a point perspective) recently
http://coord.info/GC1XQWA Dr. Mouer's Love Puzzle 1 worth 49 points last found 14 months ago
http://coord.info/GC2N2H3 Pod-Cast Junkey! worth 35 points (not a ton) last found 21 months ago
Not super high point values, but they do add up!

Just knocked down the #5 ranked New Mexico cache,
New Mexico Beauty which was at 258 LCPs (now worth 129). The last find was also the FTF, back in March 2011. Been working on this series for the better part of a year and am pleased to have finally finished it

. A fun and varied series of remote desert hikes.

I finally got around to finding another lonely cache. I think the last one I found was back in May. Anyway, today I found
Above Arizona #4 - Time Killers, last found 19 months ago.
