I found three more lonely caches yesterday out in the Crown King/Horse Thief Basin area. The first, The Big Dipper, I DNFd over a year ago and finally made it back out there. It was last found close to two years ago on 12/13/2010. The next two were last found just a day under a year ago: Codger Cache #1 - South Fort and Above Arizona #5 - East Fort.

Congratulations, that's awesome, 10,000 is a great milestone! I need to fix my dirt bike and head out and find some more of your caches. I remember having a blast riding out to Mesa View.

I headed out to the Badger Springs area today and found Walk in the park! (NOT), last found over two years ago on Oct. 2, 2010. What a great area. I don't understand why it's been so long since the last finder.

Not quite a year, but I found Pitiful http://coord.info/GC2RB3Z yesterday, the last find of which was December 25, 2011. Another one of our Rim Country Caches that really deserves more visits than it gets.

Actually, the cache id is GC22GWB, but a fatfinger takes nothing away from your accomplishment. Congratulations on the find!

Thanks for your comment. :) You're correct about the GC#. It should have been GC22GWB :? My fingers must have been a little swollen from the climb, which accounts for the "FAT" finger syndrome. :)

I found Haley's Ride today. The last time it was found was Feb. 18, 2010, close to three years ago. That's just crazy as it isn't that hard to get to.

CC.. Congrats on the lonely find.. you would hope that a cache that had been logged in almost 3 years would be worth more than 49 points.. :o it is what it is.. 8 finds in 47 months.. no fuzzy math, just the hard truth.. ;)

Well, I thought 49 points was pretty good. It certainly seemed worth the two mile bike ride to get it. ;)

I was in the Yuma area last week for the MEGA event. While most folks did the power trails I headed to the Goldwater range and found 4 caches that hadn't been found for more than a year. They were:
West Peak Gap GC1MAQG last found April 2010
Deserters Cabin GC21MGR last found April 2011
Golden Dream Mine GC23DCH last found February 2010
Hanger GC1M51G last found February 2010

Earlier in the week I also did the virtual High-up # 2 GCGMQB near Quartzsite, which hadn't been found in more than 11 months.
