I'm in total agreement wit the greenskeeper. A big thanks.. lets get it rolling and when the stats finally come into play down the road, this will be the first site I and many other DGP starved cachers will check every morning..

Ditto! From the FB page and the DGP forums, I know I'm not the only one who's very grateful for your efforts, and not the only one who appreciates the time and energy you're putting into getting this project off the ground. Thanks!

Re: Thanks to ADMN.
Another hearty thank you to lcpAdmin/Corfman Clan for getting this project up and running. Our best wishes in getting this working and useful!
BTW, anybody else find it disconcerting that it will be very easy to mix up typing LCP and LPC? -- which are not the same thing!

Yup, I got caught by that the other day when setting the forum up. I kept typing lpcAdmin. I guess I need to get out and do more backcountry caching and less urban caching...rocketsciguy wrote:BTW, anybody else find it disconcerting that it will be very easy to mix up typing LCP and LPC? -- which are not the same thing!

It's good to see the site starting to come alive a bit more. Can't wait until the site is fully operational.
Re: Thanks to ADMN.
Woot!
Of course, I now live on the coast of SoCal, and although I have been finding some of this areas back country caches, I doubt I will score very high.

Yah, this is great! Thanks so much for your time and efforts to keep this adventure going. It's going to be neat to see how this site evolves and grows over time. I can’t wait, time to get out in the backcountry again!!
Re: Thanks to ADMN.
I am really excited to see someone working to continue the fun engendered by the DGP site. Thanks a ton!

Re: Thanks to ADMN.
I'm actually hoping this project takes about 8 months to get off the ground. Since the DGP went belly-up I've been catching up on a lot of neglected home projects. I've still got a lot more home improvements to do...and all that work will likely cease (like it did when Weeds19 told me about the DGP) once the LCP starts spitting out stats and leader boards.
So...THANKS...keep working...but work s-l-o-w-l-y.

Re: Thanks to ADMN.
I'm also excited by the progress and though I haven't coded in over a decade I do remember spending long hours in a computer lab in college cursing a computer when it once again did not like the logic that I had used.
Wrt Birddroppings post I also have found that I have a lot more time for various projects. Unlike BD, I rarely spend it doing anything productive. Though if you would consider my complete domination of my family in Just Dance 3 on the Kinect system to be productive then you can scratch that last statement.

Re: Thanks to ADMN.
After a job transfer to the east coast the family has been really excited for our transfer back west to ABQ. I was particularly excited, and then of course extremely disappointed upon learning about the demise DGP. Though now, excited again to find LCP! Thank you very much for taking this on and keeping alive what I had found to be a very interesting aspect of this hobby/sport that draws a unique sub-culture of caching [what my wife calls "the crazies"].
I have absolutely no computer skills but make a pretty good cup of coffee, can sleep in a chair and excel at breaking motorized vehicles using rocks. If any of these skills will help in develpment let me know.....or I can just donate a couple of bucks. Your choice. Lab-1
