Subscription Membership?

I'm working on a subscriber feature, where LonelyCache subscribers will be given more features than regular LonelyCache members. So far that mostly includes more sorting options, such as being able to sort caches by next find points, etc. It also allows subscribers to add a note to a cache with the current cache points. Maybe not that exciting, but it's something.

For now, I'm planning on adding all the LonelyCache benefactors as subscribers and hopefully get some feedback on what's there and what other features would be desired to differentiate a subscriber from a regular member. I'm willing to add others if you agree to offer feedback and suggestions.

I have no idea when, or if, a LonelyCache subscription will ever be made available nor what would be a reasonable fee, though I'm thinking $5 or $10 annually. It's something I'm toying with to help cover costs such as the annual premium memberships you guys have been gifting every year (hoping the annual request would no longer be needed)

Please let me know if you would consider a subscription to LonelyCache. Besides adding the differentiating features, I would need to add all the subscription management and I'm not sure how worthwhile, timewise, that may be.

I tried the feature to update the note with LCP points and it worked! Nice!

With the December 10, site update, subscribers now have the ability to change ones home base in the MostWanted page. The home base defaults to ones home coordinates as provisioned on Geocaching.com.

I'm currently working on what I'm calling the, What If, feature. It will allow you to see how a backcountry leader board will change if you find certain caches.

From the backcountry leader board, you navigate to the What If page. Once there, a list of caches is presented. Only caches you haven't found and that will increase your backcountry score are listed. These caches are limited to both the region and cache type the board is for. You will be able to select as many of the caches in the list as you would like. Once you have selected all the caches, you will click on the Play button and the impacts to the leader board will then be computed and displayed.
