Hi,
Just a real quick update today to allow any new States to show up in the "View Statistics For" table at the bottom of the home page, any region page, and any geocache page. This is to support expansion of the LonelyCache territory.
We're also in the process of adding Wyoming to LonelyCache. So far most of the caches have been added and now they are being updated. It appears there are some pretty lonely caches in Wyoming. At this time, we have not added the Wyoming counties, that will happen soon. Until the next site update, the Wyoming region page will appear rather blank.
Enjoy,
Russell

Will be interesting to see how far down I move in the list after the updates are completed. I have a few finds in Wyoming but probably not enough to offset some of the people that cache up in that direction. Glad that you are able to add more states.

Looks like the initial WY numbers have been have been run and updated..
I also wondered how many spots I might drop after the WY update.. so far I only dropped 2 places form 132 to now 134 in the LCP / Best all around lonely cache wide leaderboard.
As far as creating regions for WY, I'm undecided.... I think breaking it down just by County would be sufficient, those counties up there cover a lot of square miles...

All caches except the following two traditionals have been updated: Old Chamber Office and Stargate Command. I don't know why those two haven't updated yet and would like to investigate if there is a flaw in how caches are queued for update.desert dawg wrote:Looks like the initial WY numbers have been have been run and updated..
At this time, there is no plan to create DGP style regions for Wyoming or any other areas we may add to LonelyCache. We'll be adding the counties but beyond that would need to come from input from you guys, our users.desert dawg wrote:As far as creating regions for WY, I'm undecided.... The last two caches finally updated. They both got stuck in a "partially updated" state and would never move forward from there. I cleared things out and then they updated fine. I'll have to take a look and see if I can figure out why they got stuck and fix that.Corfman Clan wrote:All caches except the following two traditionals have been updated: Old Chamber Office and Stargate Command. This ended up being easy to debug and the fix will be in the next update.Corfman Clan wrote:The last two caches finally updated.
