I just pushed out another site update. This is another attempt to fix the menu issue.

The last attempt was just a rework of the January update. It failed too. Now a different mechanism is being used to define the menu and ensure that the right parts are shown depending on whether a user is logged in or not, etc. I'm pretty sure I got it right this time; we'll find out soon enough. Please let me know if you still encounter issues with the menu displaying properly.
Other updates include better management of the background jobs that access the Geocaching Live API.

This attempt seems to have resolved the menu issue. Since the update, I have not seen any problems with the menu. More telling though, is when browsing through the log files since the update, there has been no errors associated with the menu logged. Previously, scores of errors would be logged each day.
