A very happy milestone yesterday -- the LonelyCache site went live on 18 August 2012. Congratulations Corfman Clan and RedFist on an impressive initial build and rollout of the site and mostly trouble-free first year of live operations!
Please let us, your visitor/user community, know how we can help sustain and improve the site. <cough-merchandizing!-cough> I'm pretty sure I could scrounge up $30 to fund a prospective LonelyCache05 to help expand the territory, or if you need to use members' API downloads or PQs too. Or even direct contributions to pay server hosting fees if ad revenue isn't cutting it.
Thank you Corfman Clan for continually maintaining and improving the site. Hope there are many more years to come!
Yes, HAPPY BIRTHDAY LCP. It's been a very fine year. CC and Redfist have done a marvelous job and are to be congratulated. Oh yes, merchandise please.....
I sent an email off to the T-Shirt store about creating an online store for us. They already have the artwork and have done the prep work for embroidered work as well (CC and I ordered ourselves some VERY cool hats).
Yep, we've been live for a year now. Wow! I really appreciate the kind words and everyone's support throughout this endeaver. It's been quite an adventure for me and I'm looking forward to this coming year and more.
But did we just pass LonelyCache's birthday or its anniversary? No matter, it's a great milestone either way. Thanks so much for all your support!

Anniversary? I don't know, maybe if you want to consider the graphic details... the January 17 event is more like conception ... of an idea ... into a viable community at a central location, followed by 8 months of gestation and development and coding, ending in a miraculous "live" birth, not a moment premature in my opinion. Since then the site has continued developing and maturing through its infancy, and has now become a toddler. Expect tantrums at any moment!
