Re: Mexico
What a bummer! I sure was hoping to add Mexico. I am pretty disappointed in the limited response here  , as well as the consent to the limiting of the LCP regions. CC, I really appreciate the ideology of continuing the DGP, but I don't understand why people are against this. It is a ga...
Re: Mexico
I think that lots of people go to Old Mexico and especially baja. I know that some of my greatest BC cache adventures have been there, and when some of this unrest settles, I want to go back for more. on a selfish note, my undeniable # 1 cache is in Mexico. so I would obviously like to see that adde...
Re: wishes
I know this is probably not the time to be thinking of expanding the geographical territory the LCP... We have been Keeping the idea of increasing the range of LonelyCache in mind as we've been implementing it. I'd love to grow the territory to all of the western US, and more. Time will tell where ...

Re: Calculating a Geocache's Score
What about a cacher that has logged a find, but never visited the site. I have 1 cacher in mind that has never deleted his "finds". I even went back and visited 10+caches that we mutually had "found" and I have never seen his name on a logbook. do we just give you the name and he...

Re: Development Status
Yes, we are looking forward to that. Last week, I was able to get an account set up for a small group of people to use (beta testers) to access the test website. We're not quite ready yet, but it should be soon. Is there a sign up list? pick me...Pick Me ...PICK ME!!!!...Pleaaaaaaase ;) Gosh I am g...

CC and Redfist, thank you so much for getting this together. I know that time is hard to come by and that you are using yours to get the LCP up and running. I truly appreciate it and wanted to let you know not only do I check on the DGP everyday in the hopes that it will return, but I check here to ...

Re: Development Status & Initial Area of Coverage
Please don't get me wrong, I am excited that we are getting closer...excited that Geocaching.com is happy and I understand that Mexico is dangerous right now. However I think those are separate from my question, of I thought you were starting small, and thus couldn't include California and or Mexico...

Re: Development Status & Initial Area of Coverage
Ummmm....Quick question....I thought you were starting small, and thus couldn't include California and or Mexico...So how do we add Washington, Oregon, Montana, and Wyoming before these others? I hope this is an april fools joke.

Re: LCP Initial Area of Coverage
[*]All of Mexico could easily be added (it has less than 2000 caches), however I hesitate to make this international to start. Also, initially, I'd like to keep the LCP within the boundaries of the DGP.[/list] I spent some considerable time and effort to get to Mexico looking for and finding a coup...
Re: Regions
I like the idea of regions. I know I liked to concentrate on certain stats for certain regions. I would like to have some sort of regions on a smaller scale than states. Perhaps we'll use counties, though counties are very different from state to state. For example, AZ has 15 counties while CO has ...

Re: Point System ideas
A Point/Day seems easy to figure if you don't have anything in front of you (especially for geocachers who know projection angles). A caches points could be viewed as a circle. If the cache has been out for a year, the circle is complete (365 days is approx 360 degrees). If it's been out for half a...
wishes
My 2012 Christmas wish list is short...
A reliable and fair point system to rate BC caches and cachers.
A leaderboard or 2 to rank such caches and cachers.
more time and money to get into the BC and find some lonely caches.
I hope you can help with at least 2 of the 3...
