Re: Backcountry Cache

Thank You! I wondered because I like looking for caches off the main traveled ways and was never certain I was going for a backcountry cache or not.

Backcountry Cache

I apologize for asking but I do not know what determines that a cache is "Backcountry" or not. Could somebody please explain for me what it is that makes a cache Backcountry.

Thank You,

Do you really need the columbian.com singles. Just wondering where your taking the advertising and what to expect, niece and nephew help me find where to go. Just want to be sure I won't see worse so they don't see worse.

Re: How things are updating...

I believe this is due to the Site Update Issue that has been reported. When stats are being updated, all other updates are suspended. For some reason, the site update is not completing. I believe when we resolve that issue, this should clear up. The stats update was stopped and won't be attempted a...

Re: How things are updating...

A question I have been finding several caches over the last week and seem to be having a problem with them updating on my profile. First only a couple showed up then over the next few days a couple more showed up. Yesterday I found a couple and only one updated. Am I doing something wrong? I went to...

Re: and We're Live!

SUPER! Thank You so much for all your hard work and sleepless nights. DGP was my lifeline to fun and challenging caches and Lonelycache will do all that and more. The logo is great and I hope the store is open by Christmas so Santa can fill my stocking with t-shirts and decals.

Re: FOUND IT? POST IT!

Headed way out on the Az Strip to work on a water project with AZG&F and ADBSS. Took the Navajo Trail and picked up 5 caches that had a last log of 10/2010. These 5 were part of a 19 cache day and an 10 hour drive, 4 on pavement and 7 on dirt and rock. Project and caching went well only 2 rattle...

Re: Development Status

Thanks! I always need the little extra so I do appreciate the the added info.

When I fall on my backend, minor bruising, embarasment.
WhenI fall on my front end, hydrogen peroxide, bandaids, maybe a soft or hard cast, always some damage.

Re: Paris' Poison

But I seriously doubt most cachers would even look at the Achilles points. The challenge of simply finding Lonely Caches and getting the points for the find is a much bigger motivator for me. Of course, I'm unlikely to be on any Leaderboards, so I won't be interested in 'sabotaging' someone else's ...

How about including 4X4, dirt bike, mountain bike, hot air ballon (for our roping friends), hiker and muggle :D . Since we all use different means of exploring I like the Topo scene possibly with a "Lonely" cache icon.
